SAP Connector from partner it-novum
Requires additional paid license The Pentaho SAP Connector integrates directly into Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) to simplify the extraction and transformation of data from SAP systems. Organizations can access SAP data without extensive programming, offering a user-friendly interface and capabilities such as flat table extraction, RFC execution, and report/query extraction. Elastic REST Bulk Insert
Generally available in EE Pentaho since v 9.3 This plugin adds a PDI step that can insert records into an ElasticSearch 7.x or 8.x index using the ElasticSearch Bulk REST API. Easily take data from one or more PDI stream fields and index them with ElasticSearch for full-text search capabilities.

Hierarchical Data Type
Generally available in EE Pentaho since v 9.5 This plugin adds a “Hierarchical” data type to PDI, as well as steps to work with fields containing them. Easily read, create, or modify complex and nested data structures composed of lists and objects. This plugin makes working with JSON or YAML in PDI simpler than ever before.

Salesforce Bulk Operation
Generally available in EE Pentaho since v 10.1 This plugin adds a step for modifying large batches of Salesforce objects using the Salesforce Bulk REST API. Create, update, upsert, or delete thousands of Salesforce objects in a timely manner over traditional Salesforce processes.

Kafka Enhancements
Generally available in EE Pentaho since v 9.4 This adds additional features for working with Kafka streaming steps. Add consumer end timestamps for bounded time period processing, as well as an additional job entry to reset Kafka consumer group offsets, which is extremely useful for re-processing topic data when working with Kafka streaming.

    PDI OData Plugin
    Requires additional paid license
    This plugin contains 4 steps for communicating with OData 4.0 services, such as Microsoft Dynamics, as a client:
  • OData Input - Queries an OData service and places entity data on the step's output stream
  • OData Create - Creates entities from data on the input stream and inserts them into an OData entity set
  • OData Update - Patches entities in an OData entity set with updated properties sourced from the step's input stream
  • OData Delete - Deletes entities from an entity set by key.

    PDI Sharepoint Plugin
    Requires additional paid license This plugin can connect to on-prem Sharepoint instances via NTLM or to an OAuth2 enabled Sharepoint Instance (Office365) to retrieve site "list" data. Sharepoint sites are comprised of a collection of objects, some of them being lists. Lists are made up of items, and can be extracted as tabular data. This step allows for the extraction of such lists to a PDI stream.

    Requires additional paid license The Zendesk plugin for PDI provides simple integration with the Zendesk Rest API. It allows you to: Get a list of all objects Search for objects and return the results Get an individual object Get objects that have changed since a specified time Get the audit history for a ticket Create new objects Update existing objects Delete objects Suspend users

    Jira Plugin
    Requires additional paid license This plugin contains 2 input steps for Pentaho that connect to the Jira REST APIs. The 3 plugins are: Jira Query Step The Jira Query step allows you to run JQL against Jira and return the results. The JQL can be a static value or be accepted from an input field. Jira Issue Input Step The Jira issue input step accepts an input field containing a Jira Issue ID or Issue Key and returns the information for the particular issue specified. Jira Update Step The Jira update step updates an existing issue in Jira.

    Hyper Plugin
    Requires additional paid license This plugin contains a single step to write Tableau .hyper database files. A single Hyper file can contain many schemas and tables, and they are written by a separate hyperd process provided by Tableau. The Hyper format is similar to SQLite, but there is no JDBC interface for Hyper. This plugin allows Hyper files to be created, which can be used to import data into Tableau.

    Tray Carte Clustering
    Requires a paid license/Enterprise support Tray Carte Clustering provides a combination of a lightweight server and a carte clustering plugin to horizontally scale out Pentaho ETL workflows. The Tray Server provides an API gateway that utilizes a configurable load balancing algorithm to distribute Pentaho jobs from a work queue across many PDI Carte servers.
